wow...i need more 2009 journals

Thu Apr 9, 2009, 4:25 AM
  • Mood: Wow!
  • Listening to: onerepublic
  • Reading: the third day, the frost, from the tomorrow series
  • Watching: the west wing (doing everything simultainiously,..
  • Playing: i wish...)
seriously, 3 journals for 2009? I need to get my act together
But knowing me, that's never going to happen.

Hukay, where do i start? Its the easter holidays and i am currently sitting in my room, with many things on my desk which i do not need but i am am using if that makes sense. Dad's watching the footy and so's bess, but i am all 'is too loud!' so i came down here. I have been spending more time in my room recently...its a nice room...i like it...its very...green
So's my fish tank actually (i should really clean it)

Urm...well currently i am looking forwards to some books i have ordered over amazon! The national geographic book on Prehistoric mammals and a national geographic book on dinosaurs. They seriously look awesome and are coming in (hopefully) at the start of next week. I also ordered 'The world of kong: a natural history of skull island'. Okay, even i have to admit that sounds kind of geeky, but the art i found looks awesome and some reveiws say its barely even about kong, more about the animals and stuff. so i am also looking forwards to that.
That's something i like about ordering books of the internet. it gives me something to look forwards to in the near future, it isn't like 'maths test in 7 weeks' or something, its something i get really phyced about. if thats how you spell phyced, i really wouldn't know.

Today i saw '17 Again' at the movies AGAINST MY WILL!! I was just short of being physically dragged there, it was a bizarre movie. It was also one of the most incredibly awkward movies ever, like, not how they made it, the atcual meaning of the scenes. like, the giy becomes 17 then makes out with his actual wife who is still, like, 40. at that point i actually hid my face behind my sister shoulder, or tried to. i actually did that, not metaphically, literally. it was so awekward.

Another bizarre film i have seen recently would be 'Knowing'. Man that was weird i mean...on a scale of 1 to 10 on the richtor scale of weirdness it got a 453! So bizarrly bizarre. It was just...
Weird...when i left the cinema i was in a bit of a trance of weirdness, seriously. It was extrememly odd. and strange.
Cool special effects though.

So yes, that's what i have been up to. Oh, my Aunt and her friend are over, Auntie Chrisy and Kim.

On the art front i have been steadily plugging away. I am slowly slowly teaching myself to draw a bigger variaty of stuff which is good. I am trying to do more upload-worthy stuff but really, i don't finish enough stuff or anything.

So yes,
I am reading the 'Tomorrow' series by John Marsden, brilliance in paperback, seriously. If you have not read it, READ IT!!
same with the West Wing t.v series, i do not UNDERSTAND people who don't watch it. HOW can you nopt watch it world? It is....i'm not even going to try and explain, but go and youtube it at the very least (try 'The west wing: CJ root canal';) Maybe mitch match the words a bit. But that shows a bit of the humorous side, though that isn't even near the top of the funniest moments.
And i have been listening to Onerepublic, love them. great music. Go listen to it.

Well, now that we are done with the '100 things qwiven says you should like' i am going to sign off and see if i can find somebody to chat to on msn.
Adious amigos!!!

Ditch the fish. What have they ever done for you?

Machines don't have feelings, and neither does trance.
No dress code - no speed limit - just the euphoric sound of HARD HOUSE.

Knowing was good, aside from the garbage ending..... garbage.
Though, another movie that's worth a watch would be The Uninvited. Pretty trippy, though slow in some places.

Well...he/she did used to keep me awake by 'blipping' the top of the water during the middle of the night...
So...possibly saved me...from a bad dream? Maybe?

"I'm so witty"

Depend on the rabbits foot if you will, but remember, it didn't work for the rabbit.
:iconqwiven:
It was a pretty wicked idea to start with, but then aliens? Wheat feilds? White rabbits? Boring, no thanks, next please.
The start was good but yeah, the ending ruined it.
I was told it was reeeally creepy, is it?

Quite creepy. The ending is actually the creepiest part.

Heya. Knowing has Rose Byrne in it doesn't it?
I want to go see the uninvited. Mum fears it will psychologically scar me for the rest of my life. I don't see why. I can easily hide and block my ears if I'm not handling it. haha.
How are holidays for you...? Done your art essay? I know I haven't!
your books sound exciting. And it does sound geeky. Although, in a fantastic way. haha! Are you going to be a paleantologist? (spelling?)
or one of those people who dig up earth who I should really remember the names of but for some reason 'architect' will not leave my brain and let me think of the right word?

"And some say, Old Greg is like a, a big fish finger, but big! Like um, like a garage. As big as a garage. Imagine that fish finger, when you can see it as big as a garage, oh! It isn't small, it's the big one, like that."

Archeologist?
I mean it could be an architect, but it would have to be a slightly crazy one.

I couldn't be bothered making a signature so I made a signature saying............ wait a minute.
:iconh4m15h:
There's just something about new books isn't there?

It's interesting that you like the 'Tomorrow' series. There are a whole heap of people who hate it with a vengeance, opposed an equal amount that love them. I swear those books split communities. They can't be as bad as Twilight though. Those create ethnic rifts!

PS: Psyched.

yes! that's what I was thinking of. I knew it wasn't architect, but I couldn't get it out of my head. You can understand why, very similar sounds. haha.
