Faving without commenting

Well, I have recently been having the problem of people faving without commenting on my artwork.
First, I'd like to say that I am not trying to beg for attention or fish for compliments or whatever.
I am saying that I would really, really appreciate it if people critiqued instead of just faving all the time, which is what is currently happening. I put my artwork up on deviantart with the main purpose of IMPROVING. 'You have 6 favorites' isn't very helpful :P
Again, I would really appreciate it if people took a moment even just to write something short like 'left foreleg is too long', or 'those colours clash'. This sought of stuff is INFINITELY more helpful then favorites.
I know people are busy, I do it myself, though I do try to comment as much as I can. I understand people just wanting to fav, but it happens all the time. And I do appreciate favs, I am not tryin to diss them or something, I am just saying I am putting stuff up here to improve, not for the fun of filling out the uploading form :P
Thanks for reading this, sorry if it's a bit short/blunt but I am having a bit of a bad day so I am in a short/blunt mood.

Meh, I always figured that if you want proper critique on your works, don't look for them on DA. People here on DA are often times either not willing to critique or not capable. Good critics here are rare. I'd be willing to help you out with your artwork but it would work much better if you sent me a note with the picture, so I can give you personal crits on it.

Besides that, I would like to suggest you check out sites such as NDA and ConceptArt as they are sites that are made for critique and helping people improve. This site is mostly just made to promote your artwork and to gain attention, which is a good thing too, but not what an artist needs the most.

I didn't know; I think I kind of assumed it was a bit of everything. I have been thinking about getting a ConceptArt thread-thingy for awhile, I might actually do it now, thanks!

I comment when I can and ALWAYS crit when I think it will be helpful to the individual and that they will take it with good grace...
But honestly I never see anything to crit on your pieces right off the bat
Plus, yes, I've been mass faving due to lack of time

This is the sort of thing that is inevitable on deviantart. People are just lazy or 'don't have the time' (which is a bit of a lie since if they have enough time to go on dA in the first place, they have time to comment :0).
ConceptArt is a much better place to go if you're after improvement and crits.
I love CA, although I'm not quite sure how to get around there properly. xD
